Right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper has played domestic cricket in Pakistan .
Adnan made his first class debut at age of 18 just like his brother Umar who also made first class debut at such young age. He is a natural wicket keeper but he has always been left out of international side due to his brother Kamran who was always first choice for wicket keeping slot but due to inconsistency performance behind the wicket for couple of years selectors showed faith in Adnan by selecting him for his first international series against South Africa in UAE where Zulqarnain Haider left the team just before 5th and final ODI against South Africa at Dubai.Pakistan will be hoping that Adnan becomes a really good batsman in the near future to accompany his already brlliant keeping.
While, Adnan has only started his career for Pakistan, he would be hoping that he continues to perform good and have a long career ahead of him, particularly in the Test arena.
